March Papertrey Blog Hop!

Good Morning everyone! or I should say afternoon.  I totally overslept this morning and I have a very full day so I'm going to make this short and sweet.  Here's my entry into the Papertrey ink March blog hop challenge.
The challenge this month was to use aqua and yellow.  Now I have to admit that this is far from my favorite color combo. Being the good sport that I am, I thought I'd give it a try anyways. It wasn't so bad after all :)
If you want to play along here's a link to the blog hop:
I'm on my way over to see what others have come up with.
Thanks for stopping in. Until next time, Jana

Another Papertrey ink Make it Monday

Good morning friends, I've been on a whirlwind here all week.  We've had summer like weather for the past week. I've gotten sooo much yard work done :).
I just love the technique for this weeks Make-it-Monday challenge I had to make another card. After I finished blending the copics for my back ground I decided that it was too much for this stamped image so I cut it down and added the Orange Zest paper on the bottom third. I hope you enjoyed this.  Once more here's the link if you want to learn this technique and/or play along.
Until next time, Jana

Make it Monday #58 graduated backgrounds

Good Morning all, on this glories first day of spring.  We are having summer like weather here in central NY today so this will be a short post. I need to get outside and get some yard work done:)

I'm playing along with the Make it Monday #58 using products.  Rather than explain the challenge I'm leaving the link so you can see for yourself. One point I might add is you don't need to use Copic markers as long as you use an alcohol marker. I use some Prismacolor markers and Copic in my example. With the Prismacolor markers I used the broad tip. I love this summery card. I'm sending it off to my daughter today because she's experiencing the same hot sunny weather we are.
The medallion stamp and paper are from Papertreyink.
Until next time,
