Bee Tin

Hello again everyone. It's been such a busy week here. Yesterday I hosted Mother's Day and my Daughter's Birthday. (I can hardly believe my baby turned 24 yesterday. She's the youngest of three and the only girl.) Add that to lots of yard work, window washing and some major dental work. I'm almost glad it's Monday and the start of a new week, lol. I have a few projects in the works for this week. But for today I'm posting another tin that I made for myself. I needed one for my laundry room as a catch all for loose change, buttons and small pieces of hardware from my husbands pockets.
Hope you stop back soon, Jana

Decorated Canister

Hello again Everyone, Last night I tried something new for me. I'm sure some of you have done these but I hadn't.
I was at My Mother's apartment this week when she was going to throw away this tin. It looks like it's never been used. I told her if she gave it to me I'd make her something with it. This is what I came up with. It's a tin for keeping her laundry quarters in. Right now she's using a plastic cup that sits on top of her fridge. I think this will look much nicer.
I used Cosmo Cricket "Boyfriend" paper. I think it's so cute and the clothes hanging on the line makes it a perfect fit. The ribbon is "Dusty Durango" from Stampin Up. I cut a series of flowers to layer and put a decorative brad in the center. I think this would be cute in my laundry room too. I could use it to put the little pieces of hardware I find when I empty my husbands pockets. I think I'll make myself one too.
Thanks for taking a look, I hope to see you here again, Jana
